Switch & Outlet Relocation

When a room is rearranged, the existing switch or socket positions can become inconvenient or even unusable. Our switch and outlet relocation service moves these points to where you actually need them, extending or re-routing the associated wiring within the wall. We remove the old accessory carefully, make the cable joint safe within an approved enclosure where necessary, and install a new back box at the agreed location. The wall surface around the old position is left ready for your decorator or for our making-good service if requested.

This service includes:

• Removing the old switch or socket and disconnecting it from the circuit
• Extending the cable using maintenance-free connectors where hidden
• Cutting a new back box opening and securing the box flush
• Fitting and testing the accessory in its new position
